Magical Cusco and Enchanting Jungle

Reception and welcoming at Lima's Jorge Chavez airport. Pick up and transfer to selected hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Breakfast at hotel and morning off. In the afternoon, guided tour of the Historic Center of Lima. 
Colonial Lima: We will do a guided tour of the Historic Center of Lima. Appreciate its main attractions: the Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, the Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace, Municipal Palace and old streets with colonial mansions, balconies and small squares.

Contemporary Lima: The tour continues to the modern and attractive areas such as San Isidro Lima, Miraflores and Larco Mar. We will visit the 'Park of Love' and appreciate a beautiful panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Pick up from hotel and transfer to Airport to board the flight to the imperial Cusco city. Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel. Rest - altitude acclimatization. In the afternoon will tour the imposing city of Cusco and the main archaeological sites.

Visit the historic Plaza de Armas. Attend to the Cathedral, built on the remains of Quishuarcancha- that it is believed, was the room of the Inca Viracocha. During the empire was dominated by a huge stone covered with sheets of gold in which sacrifices were carried out and all kinds of military and religious ceremonies.

The cathedral is adorned by impressive 400 colonial paintings and religious images belonging to the 'Escuela Cusqueña'. Will know the enigmatic legend of the bell 'Maria Angola "which, from the top of one of the towers of the Cathedral makes hear the echo of his mighty clang in 40 miles around.
Arrive at Qoricancha, temple of the Sun, most important ritualistic place in the time of Incas. Then we go to the high part of the city: Sacsayhuaman, the cyclopean fortress that amazes the world. Those are gigantic stones-some of which weigh up to 20 tons, which overlap each other in a union so strong and perfect that remains as a mystery to contemporary engineering. 
Visit to the Temple of Kenko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, where we will see the 'Inca baths'. At the end of the afternoon return to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco

Pick up from hotel to start the excursion to the Sacred Valley of Incas. Our first destination is the village of Pisac, beautiful place that has peace and quiet, characteristics of the country. Visit the colorful market known for its craft fairs. Continue to Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant. 
Finally visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to the Valley of the Incas. Accommodation in Cusco or the Sacred Valley.

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the train station. We will travel by train to Aguas Calientesfrom where we will take the bus to take us to the top of the mountain where it is located the impressive citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the modern world, guided tour, all the way, we will appreciate the awesome work done by Incas. Lunch Buffet. At the end of the afternoon, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes. Transfer to hotel.

On this second visit to Machu Picchu, we can contemplate an unforgettable sunrise over the citadel. Hike to Inti Punku - Gate of the Sun, where we have a spectacular view of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
If we want to continue the adventure, we can ascend to 'Huayna Picchu "or" Young Mountain' to visit the Temple of the Moon. From the heights of Huayna Picchu, we will contemplate in its entirety this stunning work of architecture that amazes the world. In the afternoon, take the train back to Cusco. Upon your arrival our representative will be waiting at the station to take you to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Pick up from hotel and transfer to the airport to take the flight to Puerto Maldonado. Arrival in Puerto Maldonado where we take a boat down the river to take us to the hostel in the middle of the Amazon jungle. Overnight at the Lodge in Puerto Maldonado.

Early will be initiated the scheduled activities. These may vary depending on the hostel you're staying and the time of year you visit the Amazon rainforest. Activities include, trekking through the jungle with a native guide, who will show us the different species of jungle flora and fauna. We will have a boat ride to see the otters, parrots, macaws, monkeys, pumas, wild birds and many endangered species. Will walk through bridges that reach the treetops and enjoy an unparalleled view of Amazonian wealth. Overnight at the Lodge in Puerto Maldonado. 

After breakfast we bid farewell to the jungle and return to Puerto Maldonado airport for the flight back to Lima.
